• 1989: Settlement of the RISC Institute in the castle and initiation of the Softwarepark by 
             Prof. Buchberger
• 1992: The first IT-companies and other research institutes move into the office builiding Meierhof
• 1993: Start of the first study course Software Engineering with 30 students
• 1997: Opening of the first Student Dormitory
• 1999: Opening of the first Polytechnic Building
• 2002: Start of a secondary school
• 2002: Opening of another office building
• 2004: Opening of the second Polytechnic Building
• 2006: Opening of the office building from the company “WURM & Partner Unternehmensservice”,
